Kayak.fr reveals top 10 cities in France for luxury holidays
As expected the capital city of Paris tops the list of Most Popular French Destinations for a Luxury Hotel Break, but it is closely followed by Marseille, Nice and Cannes.
Conversely, Nice is also near the top of the list for budget destinations, proving that this cosmopolitan city can cater to everyone's holiday desires. But if you are looking for a true luxury destination then Cannes is certainly up there with the best of them and is still one of the most popular choices for the jet-set looking for a seaside destination.
The lists were published this week by travel website Kayak.fr and are based on research conducted of users between January and October 2016. Kayak has listed the most popular cities for a double room, and then produced two rankings, the first for users seeking low prices (hotels two stars) the second for those with more luxurious tastes (4-5 stars).
