Yellow weather warning for large swell along the Cannes coast
France Meteo has issued a yellow storm warning that began this morning, Tuesday 29th November 2016 at 03:00, and will affect the coastal areas of Cannes.
This phenomenon will affect the entire coastline of the Alpes-Maritimes, with the waves being strongest in the morning between Antibes and Theoule-Sur-Mer. Wind is expected to gust between 80 to 90 km/h. The swell could generate waves that reach 2.5 to 3m in height.
The storm and swell should diminish early this afternoon, but until then it is best to avoid the coastal trails and be particularly vigilant on the roads of the coast (by foot and by vehicle).
