Planned 48 hour strikes by French cabin crew are scheduled for 31st December and 1st January.

Strikes over Christmas by French staff meant that British cabin crew were brought in to keep some services running, however a total of 38 flights were cancelled. Negotiations between the French unions and easyjet management have since broken down and staff are once again threatening to walkout.

Although most of the cancellations were on domestic French flights there was disruption to services between London Gatwick and French airports with severe delays.

Affected routes are again likely to be those flights between Paris, Nice, Lyon and Toulouse. So check your travel plans! easyjet have said that passengers on affected flights can cancel their flights for a full refund or change dates at no extra cost.
