To mark the 20th anniversary of the partnership between the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival and L’Oréal Paris, the French cosmetics company will be launching a limited-edition version of its Color Riche lipstick.

Resembling the red carpet the new lipstick will celebrate the 20-year partnership between the film festival and L’Oréal as well as the 70th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival itself. In a red tube, the Color Riche Red Carpet shade will also be engraved with a palm leaf, which in statue form is given to the top prize winner.

Rumours have started to circulate that certain celebrity ambassadors of the cosmetics brand will be present at the Cannes Film Festival but those have yet to be confirmed. Cheryl Cole was touted to be attending just months after the birth of her son in March, however, a L’Oreal spokesperson has said: “Having only given birth less than one month ago, Cheryl will not be attending Cannes Film Festival 2017 with L’Oreal Paris.”

This year’s festival is set to take place from 17th to 28th May, which gives lipstick lovers a few weeks to snag the Color Riche Red Carpet when it launches at the beginning of May.
