Le Rado Plage Beach Club, Cannes
Situated between the Carlton & Martinez Hotels close to Palais des Festival
Created in 1958, Rado Plage is the oldest beach in Cannes. A fun and relaxed beach club has been in business since then... a true Cannes institution.
Upon arrival you will be taken by a beach attendant to a comfy sun lounger either on the beach or on the sun deck. You can either eat lunch by your lounger or on the atmospheric terrace. The menu offers fish and meat plus local dishes. There are cabins with showers and lockers.
This is the oldest beach clubs in Cannes, who for 60 years have delivered a very good service to their clients and loyal customers. Serving a variety of meals ranging from simple lunches to seated dinners for 300 people or cocktail nights for 500 people.
The terrace and restaurant are heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer!
Worth knowing
The beach club is open all year. In winter from 10:00 until 19:00 and in summer from 09:00 until 19:00. During the busy months of July and August it is also open in the evening.
Who should go
Perfect for everyone, including those who just want a dip in the sea. Shower cubicles and lockers are available free of charge as well as towels for a small fee. For your children, rest assured, a professional lifeguard monitors the area from April 1st to October 15th.
The Restaurant
Each year, a new winter menu and a new summer menu are developed. All of their dishes and desserts are home-made and use fresh local produce. Open all year, the terrace is the perfect spot for a bite to eat and offers a beautiful view of the sea. In winter, they have a fully heated terrace (the only one on the Croisette) and a shelter from the rain and wind. In summer, part of the restaurant is air conditioned so that you can enjoy a most pleasant dining experience.
