This has to be one of the glitzier events on the sporting calendar, a half marathon along Cannes' famous promenade.
The Cannes half marathon and 10km races take place along the famous promenade, beside the sparkling waters and luxury yachts of the Mediterrean. Both races start and finish at the old port, making it easy for spectators to come along and cheer.
