Stars shine at Cannes NRJ Music Awards 2018

France's biggest music awards ceremony takes place in Cannes

On Saturday, November 10th 2018, the famous Palais des Festivals in the heart of Cannes hosted the 20th edition of the NRJ Music Awards, given out by the French NRJ radio station to the best national and international acts of the year.

A whole host of international celebrities attended the event, which included spectacular live performances like Black Eyed Peas' rendition of their hit 'I Gotta Feeling' with French stars David Guetta, Vitaa, Jenifer, Soprano, Kendji Girac, Amir and Big Flo & Oli. Dua Lipa, who won the Most Streamed Song award for 'One Kiss', also presented her song live as did Muse with their latest single 'Something Human', and Shawn Mendes with 'In My Blood'. There were also emotional commemorative performances honouring two of the best French artists of the 20th century, who died this year: Charles Aznavour and Johnny Hallyday.

The night's winners included Imagine Dragons as Best International Band, Ariana Grande as Best International Female Artist, Maroon 5 feat. Cardi B as Best International Song for 'Girls Like You', Ed Sheeran as Best Male Artist, Camila Cabello as Best New International Artist and DJ Snake as Best DJ of the year.
