After months of filming in England ex-Coronation Street actress, Michelle Keegan, made her way to the South of France with co-star, Lorne MacFadyen, and the crew of new ITV miniseries Tina and Bobby.

The new TV series chronicles the life of footballer Bobby Moore across three episodes, following the story of Tina Dean's 2005 memoir 'Bobby Moore: By The Person Who Knew Him Best'. Michelle plays the role of Tina, Bobby's first wife whom he met as a teenager in Essex.

Co-star, Lorne MacFadyen, plays Bobby Moore, one of England's most famous football players. Tina and Bobby married in 1962, becoming England's golden couple following the team's World Cup triumph in 1966. He won a total of 108 caps for the England team, which at the time of his international retirement in 1973 was a national record. Moore is widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of all time, and was cited by Pelé as the greatest defender that he had ever played against.

Making the most of their time in the glamorous, sun-drenched location, Keegan and MacFadyen were spotted posing for selfies by the sea. It certainly looks like there was plenty of natural chemistry between the pair so we can hope for a realistic portrayal of the young couple during the 1960s.
