Air Race World Championship comes to Cannes for a weekend
Cannes rolls out the red carpet for the Red Bull Air Race's long-awaited debut in France on 21-22 April. Cannes will host one of the world championship's races.
With French pilots in both the Master Class and the Challenger Class, including the first woman to compete in the series - Mélanie Astles - the action over the Riviera will undoubtedly mark one of the high points of the season.
Aircrafts will fly 25m over the Bay of Cannes between Canto port and the heliport's lighthouse. 100,000 spectators are expected to come to Cannes to watch the race live.
