Ben Stiller at Cannes MIPCOM 2018
The Hollywood star will present his latest TV series in the Riviera
Taking place from the 15th to the 18th of October 2018, MIPCOM is the largest event in the entertainment industry. Stiller has chosen it for the world premiere of 'Escape at Dannemora', which he has directed.
This new drama, set to air on Showtime, comprises of eight episodes, all of them directed by Ben Stiller. They tell a real story, the 2015 prison break at Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate New York. Starring Benicio del Toro and Paul Dano as the convicted murderers who broke free from the prison, and Patricia Arquette as the prison worker who helped them run away.
The president and CEO of CBS Studios International, who are producing the series, said that “The ultra-premium programming from Showtime continues to push boundaries, delivering some of the best production auspices and most compelling stories on television today. 'Escape at Dannemora' is no exception, and we look forward to premiering this highly anticipated limited series, with the amazing Ben Stiller, at MIPCOM this October.”
