In 2017, Julie Depardieu will head up the jury at the first ever Garden Festival on the French Riviera. The Festival des Jardins (Festival of Gardens) will include a competition for garden creation as well as many local activities and family entertainment all along the Cote d'Azur.

Julie Depardieu will be the patron of the Côte d'Azur Gardens Festival and will be in charge of the mission, along with the other members of the jury, to select an overall winner from among the ten candidates for 'best garden'.

Passionate about flowers, gardens and horticulture the French actress has previously been involved with promoting the wonderful gardens of Versailles. For the month of April, she will turn her attentions and her green fingers to the Cote d'Azur.
