The old quarter of Cannes, Le Suquet, celebrates its patron saint, protector of harvesters.
Saint-Sauveur is celebrated in true Provençal style, with a mass where the priest blesses the 'échaudés', little sweet bread loaves flavoured with orange blossom and sold with a symbolical ear of wheat. There is also live music and popular dances. Festivities end with a communal aïoli at the Ecole Mont-Chevalier.
