In this unique four-part Masterclass, actors will have the opportunity to improve auditioning skills in English and make valuable connections for international work. Special guest: Luci Lenox, CSA.

Part 1: Learn the art and craft of self-taping
Self-tape auditioning skills are more essential than ever for any actor who wants to work internationally. Learn the skills to effectively present yourself on tape. Actors will be assigned a scene to tape at home in advance of the class and Nancy will give feedback.

Part 2: Audition Strategy Exercises
Actors will participate in exercises that will stimulate spontaneity and purpose in auditions. Learn new approaches to cold-reading and strategies to book the role.

Part 3: International Actor Marketing Seminar
Join Nancy Bishop as she launches her new book, “Auditioning for Film and TV” (Bloomsbury) for a free lecture in English sponsored by Spotlight, Europe’s premier actor database. Lecture will be followed by book signing. Seminar (in English) for actors will focus on strategies for actors to promote themselves and procure work in the international market. Topics will include how to best take advantage of the internet for marketing, organize a professional CV, choose a winning headshot, produce an effective show reel, record auditions to send to production, and use social media. This event will be open to the public as well.
