A market that sells something for everyone
Gambetta market, held at Place Gambetta, is popular for both clothing and deli-style food.
You will find a fine selection of clothes, jewellery, shoes and leather goods, alongside the usual wonderful Provençal and Côte d'Azur deli specialities such as herbs, olives and local dishes of Socca.
There is also an undercover market surrounded by many nice bars, cafés and restaurants, and pedestrianised shopping streets nearby. It's perfect for a morning wander around the markets followed by lunch.
On foot it's easy to find: continue east past the railway station along rue Jean Jaures and you will come to Place Gambetta.
Open every day: 07:00 - 13:00, with the exception of Mondays throughout the winter months.
