Bubble Palace turns cheeks
The iconic home is on the market for a cool €300 million
The prized Pierre Carin owned mansion is currently turning heads as it is on the market for €300 million according to real estate agent, Michael Zingraf. The property has been on his books for two years now.
There's no denying that this is a hefty price tag but one you see the property then you begin to understand - a sculpture of sorts this unique property is a house for an art or architecture lover. Made-up of various spherical rooms or bubbles, the property sits high on the cliffs of the Massif de l'Esterel in Theoule-sur-Mer, only 25 minutes from Cannes. Pierre Cardin the Italian-born French fashion designer bought the estate in 1992 after falling in love with the property and describing it as "something of a gallery of living art".
“Round shapes have always inspired me,” said the designer, who created the iconic bubble dress in 1958.

Until the Bubble Palace is sold, the entire estate can be rented for a daily rate of roughly €28,000.
