Canneseries is shaping up to be one of the main events of the season in Cannes. Celebrating its first edition in April this year, it has already secured some of the biggest names in the European TV world.

Confirmed to take part in the Out of Competition event is the season 3 of Versailles, whose world premiere will take place at the Canneseries Festival on Wednesday 4th April at 19:15 in the Salle Debussy of the Palais des Festivals. The screening will be open to the public and completely free, so keep checking our event as tickets will be on sale pretty soon.

'Versailles' tells the story of King Louis XIV's reign and his obsession with the construction of a fabulous palace near Paris in the 17th century. It has been praised for its sumptuous settings and clothing, as well as the depiction of life in the court of the "Sun King", one of France's most decadent monarchs.

Attending the screening will be part of the show's crew and cast. These will probably include George Blagden, who plays Louis XIV and is also known for his role as Athelstan in 'Vikings', and Alexander Vlahos who portrays the Duke of Orleans in the series and also played Mordred in 'Merlin'.
