Tee off in Cannes in 2017
International golfing event comes to Palais des Festivals
After a record-breaking event in Mallorca in 2016, the IGTM (International Golf Travel Market) will be hosted at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes from 11th to 14th December 2017.
Mayor of Cannes, David Lisnard, has announced that the 20th edition of the International Golf Travel Market will take place in Cannes in December. Following in the footsteps of an extremely successful 2016 show that took place in Son Termes Palma, Mallorca, the 2017 show will showcase one of Europe's most exclusive golfing destinations in the Cote d'Azur.
David Lisnard said: “IGTM will help contribute to expanding the international reputation of Cannes, the capital of outdoor sports, and the Cote d'Azur, as an unbeatable tourist and golfing destination thanks to the diversity of our countryside, sunny climate, history, culture and the quality of our infrastructure.
“The event will also highlight the region’s hospitality expertise, excellent infrastructure and first-class professionalism – all of which will help drive economic wealth to the region.”
With around 30 golf courses along the Cote d'Azur and some 13 within easy reach of Cannes itself, it should come as no surprise to golf fans that this prestigious event will be coming 'tee-off' in Cannes.
