One of the regions most popular festivals, the Fete du Mimosa, will kick off this week in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, for a beautiful week filled with flowers, parades and brilliant yellow blooms!

Visitors can enjoy seeing the hills in full bloom and discover all the secrets of mimosa during its flowering period from mid-January to early March. As part of the celebrations there will guided walking tours in the Tanneron Massif, as well as bus tours which will examine the history, flowering, culture and manufacture of perfume.

The climax of the 8 day long festival is of course le Grand Corso du Mimosa, where beautifully decorated mimosa floats will parade through Mandelieu-la-Napoule alongside dancers, musicians and other performers. This is truly a sight to behold!

And for those wanting a fuller experience then may we suggest a drive along the stunning Route du Mimosa which takes in some of the best sights and views of these special yellow blooms, along the Cote d'Azur.
