Park near the tennis courts just off the D6007, then follow the CHemin de Maure-Vieil west, taking the left fork towards Maure Vieil. At the clearing at Maure Vieil take the second right towards Pont Sarrazin, Along this path you will see the bridge on your right hand side, just after a small rock formation. Take the trail over the bridge and continue up the hill through the dense forest, skirting around Mont-St-Martins east face.
The trail then comes below the south face and heads north towards its summit. Take the trail to the summit and admire the panoramic views. Return down to the trail from the summit and then take a right. Shortly you will reach a road. Follow it to the right for some time, skirting around the summit and towards the north. When you reach a clearing with two metal tanks in head straight across and take the path due east along the ridge. This gets smaller and head through the tress and back down to the other fork of the first trail taken from the car park. Follow it back to the tennis courts.
