Close to historic Valbonne and the beaches of Cannes, this villa is perfectly situated for exploring all the delights of this wonderful corner of the French Riviera.
A fine contemporary home in a beautiful natural setting. It is no surprise that La Voile de Soleil was selected as one of The Times '20 Best French Villas' in 2018.
The interior of this villa is simply fantastic - the living room is a large open space with floor-to-ceiling sliding windows that open to the terrace where you can dine. The modern kitchen has everything you could want. La Voile de Soleil has a bedroom with private bathroom on both the upper floor and also on the lower garden level. It features high-end furniture, designer elements and artwork alongside modern facilities such as air-conditioning, an iPod docking station and a Bluetooth speaker. This villa is home for couples traveling together, a small group of friends or a family with older children looking for peace, space and style in a beautiful setting.
With a glass of wine from a local vineyard relax in this private setting on your dining terrace while enjoying the serene landscape surrounded by olive trees and terraced gardens. On the extensive grounds you will find quiet spots overlooking the wooded hills. Shade can be found under the large canopy and below is the inviting pool that can be heated on request. The fine summer kitchen is wonderful for preparing barbecues, preferably with produce available at the local markets.
For example, there is the lively Friday morning market in Valbonne, just 3 km away. Restaurants and a supermarket can be found even closer within walking distance in your local village. Other beautiful places to explore are Opio, Mougins and Le Bar-sur-Loup. Follow the footpath along the Brague River to Biot through the beautiful woodland that surrounds Valbonne. Head further inland to natural rock pools and waterfalls in the rugged interior and explore the sights and smells of Grasse, the perfume capital of the world.
Of course, there's still the gracious French Riviera with the glamour of fashionable Cannes to the beautiful beaches around Juan-Les-Pins and Antibes. Water sports, boat trips and hiking trails are plentiful along the amazing coastline. The Côte d'Azur offers the perfect stay in this beautiful part of southern France.
